Don’t worry. I’ve got you! Get started by filling out the inquiry form so that I can better assist you. From there, you will receive a link to schedule a complementary call where we can chat. You will then select the desired details you’d like made from the Welcome Catalog that I send you. I’ll create and send over a customized proposal and agreement. Once your retainer fee is submitted and the contract is signed, your date will officially be reserved on my design and production calendar. I’ll break everything down for you in clear and concise personalized timelines and outlines. The process is simplified with easy to use wording intake forms and a clear cut revision and proofing process. Check-in emails will keep you on track every step of the way and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Seeing as every project I design is completely tailored to each couple or client, cost will vary dependent upon your unique wants and needs. Material choices, printing methods and embellishments desired will inform your specific quote. However, for reference, most Lettered by Shi couples invest between $1,000-$2,500 on their invitation packages and between $600-$1,500 on their signage packages.
Payment plans can absolutely be an option, per request. Your retainer and your signed contract are what reserve your design time and completion date on my calendar. If you desire a payment plan, we can chat about what works best for you, whether it be a 2 & 4 part payment plan or monthly installments for full package custom orders.
If you are hoping to get your Save the Dates and Invitations done, I would recommend booking a year in advance. If you're looking for just invitations, I'd recommend getting in touch at least 5-6 months prior to your wedding date.
Day of stationery items like ceremony programs or place cards can typically be booked within a shorter lead time than invitations. I would recommend booking at least 3-4 months prior to your wedding date to secure your spot as I take on a limited amount of weddings per month. This is important to uphold a high standard of customer service to each client. *Minimum lead time for production of day of detail items is 6 weeks.
I can, and do. Please contact me as soon as possible with any rush requests and I’ll do my best to work some magic if and when possible. Please note that a minimum 30% rush fee will be applied to all rush orders, which means any order placed less than 6 weeks from the wedding date.
Invitation packages include professional stuffing, stamping, and mailing. I LOVE taking care of the details for you and believe it takes so much stress off of you when not having to deal with these tedious tasks. If you’d prefer to seal and stuff your envelopes, no problem. Let me know!
Absolutely. I am happy to upgrade you to either print method!
This can get confusing! Make sure to order by household, not guest count as each couple or family will be mailed only one suite. Invitations are sold in increments of 10 and I highly recommend ordering 10 extra suites to accommodate address changes, last minute add-ons, lost mail & family keepsakes. This will help you avoid reprint, set-up and rush shipping charges should you need more for any reason! Trust me on this one.
YES! I have multiple sign holders, seating chart rental options, mirrors, easels, and more. Ask me about the rentals that I have and offer and we can chat about what would work best for you and your design vision.
To ensure the integrity of each thoughtfully designed semi-custom invitation suite design, typefaces may not be substituted. Should you choose to upgrade to custom hand written spot calligraphy, it will be personalized with your hand written names that have been digitized (not a font). The fully custom design process might be the right fit if you are looking for something uniquely designed just for you.
