Some wedding days feel timeless from the moment you arrive. Abby & Stephen’s elegant celebration at the Madison Club was one of them. Abby, her wedding planner, and I worked closely together to create a classic invitation suite that set the tone for the day: refined, timeless, and beautifully understated.

We chose double-thick paper for that luxurious, heirloom feel. Each invitation was wrapped in a delicate vellum jacket, tied with a soft silk ribbon, and sealed with a custom wax seal that showcased the couple’s custom-designed monogram. A nod to the couple’s emphasis on quality and tradition. To make every invitation shine, the envelopes were hand-addressed in gold ink calligraphy, perfectly complementing their white and navy color palette. This ensured that each recipient would be wowed from the moment they opened their mailboxes. The star of the show were the envelope liners which showcased the downtown Capitol – a special place in Abby and Stephen’s love story as well as on the day of their wedding.
On the Day-Of, their paper details tied everything together effortlessly. Guests were greeted by a grand seating chart displayed on a gold mirror. Personalized menus continued the use of their custom monogram and were set at each place setting, bringing a cohesive touch to their classic tablescape. Even the bar signs and their custom monogram light projection added thoughtful, subtle elegance.
One of the most touching details was a thoughtful memorial for Stephen’s late father. A beautiful reminder that weddings can hold space for both celebration and remembrance.
Every piece of this wedding was intentional and carried the class, romance, and elegance that all of us know and love. It was an honor to help bring Abby & Stephen’s vision to life. 🤍

Let me first tell you how happy I am that you’re here. I have many passions and I am grateful to be able to bring many of them into my daily life. I have always been creative, but never knew what my niche was until I met calligraphy. When I am not at my desk creating, I work as a Bilingual Resource Teacher in an elementary school (my second language is Spanish!). I also love spending quality time with my people, reading, cooking, exercising, or enjoying the outdoors.
